I agree. thou the trailing off at the end does seem ominous. if it is willed by powers greater than ourselves then that is the path we shall follow and lead others as well. do not look into the darkness as the end but as the night preceding a new dawn.
i was just pointing out more or less the choice of just walking away or banding together in hopes of better things to come. i never meant what i said to mean run or fight for what we had. but i will cut myself off there before i start running my maw off. thank you God bless

the truth is we have two choices here. one we do nothing and let the site fall and run like rat off a sinking ship. or. two we as a whole pull together and find away to save our site. sadly i don't know anything of code or the web world at large so i might have just put my paw in my muzzle. but the point is flight or fight. thank you God bless

my friend who is not a fur got me to AWA2013 (Anime weekend Atlanta yesterday where i  had a chance to meet other furs. sadly my fear of people keep me from speaking much to anyone and my friend had to ask on my behalf. i am hoping that should i make way to another con and a step closer to overcoming my fears that i could enjoy interacting with my fellow furs. just thought i'd share my day. thank you God bless

I've been reading the stories on Furrag for about a week. I've really enjoyed a number of them!  Some stories are decently crafted, although I don't much care for the subjects.
I can write anything.  My goal is to write anything well.  I'm hoping to get constructive critiques and suggestions on things I post.  I am particularly weak in dialogue.  I have a tendency for characters to soap box, or monologue.  Even worse is when I have a group of characters, and I suddenly realize only two characters are engaging the reader.  This last problem has to do with the very real fact that I am mostly deaf. . . so I only talk to one or two people at a time. And since I lip read, the person I'm talking to has the vast majority of my attention.

Otherwise I can't hear.

So, help would be appreciated.  I think I've gotten past the Nancy Drew/Tom Swift/Cherry Ames/Hardy Boys dialogue level.

Oh, and I've seen several things listed about making improvements to the site?
I've noticed a couple of things. First, sometimes a search will link to a title, but then there's no story attached to it any longer.  Second, it's hard to follow the topics here on the Forums, particularly things which have deadlines and they are still posted two years later.  Also, and this may be an SMF thing, it lists any post I haven't read as NEW.  Even if the post is from 2007.  Is there a place to establish preferences for that sort of thing?

Thanks a lot for reading!
Hello. I'm Night's Angel, fellow writer. Glade to meet you. i understand the hardship of group chatting in a story. yes having a number of people talking is good but as far as numbers go. set it so you have other parties move in and out of chat so everyone gets a say and as far as one or two at a time is fine because that gives the reader a chance to get personal with each person. and on a side note everyone tends to run at the month so you all good.
i hope to read some of your work soon and i hope you have time to read mine as well enjoy. and thank you

I write because i have excape my reality, my quotes (made by me) are "when life is hard, and you can't speak, write" and "when life hits rock bottom, write a book to relive yourself from reality". I also write because I am bad at writing, and I want to improve.
good luck and best wishes.

Hi Nights Angel,

i have a simple idea that could work. it's nothing big that one person need to focus on. but more to each member of furrag to take park in as a way to show both support and dedication to the site. we each share with friends and other furs about the site and let them join in their own time. then welcome new friends writers and readers alike. thank you

Hello, Lonely Wolf here, I'm not a good author, and I'd like motivation, but if you need me, please message!
Hello. I'm Night's Angel, i wouldn't say i'm good myself. but that is one thing i have seen on furrag. you don't have to be. just tell a story and let it do it's own thing

Um. Hello. I've notice the read review matter. And to some degree I can understand how some would be fearful of reviewing another furs works. Simply because it will open the flood gates of their own work. I'm of the matter judge not less you be judged. but all the same if i didn't want to hear what other furs thought of my work I would not have started to post them. Thank you for you're time.
